Space Fart #2 Is Almost Here.
The funding goal has been met, but you have 48 hours or so left as of today, September 7, 2024, to preorder your copy of the second issue of Space Fart on kickstarter. I think it would be really great if you went ahead and backed the campaign after reading this. In fact, if you were to do so, I will probably spend the rest of the weekend thinking about what a cool and interesting and good looking person you are. As I am writing this it is 9:55 am on Saturday, so that is a lot of time spent thinking about you.
In the meantime here are some things to look at from Space Fart #2. I always enjoy seeing process stuff in comics. I was recently doing a little bit of organizing around the house and found this ultra-rough sketch that eventually became one of my favorite pages in a 10 page Corky story that is in the new issue. At this point I do the majority of my comics work digitally, but I usually at least start with a pencil and a piece of paper just figure out where I want everything and to cut down the script as needed. This rough was probably my third or fourth version of it, as the final page is pretty close to a one-for-one cleaned up version of it.
